Frequent Asked Questions

1. Where are you located?

Our head office is situated in the beautiful city of USA,  This is where we serve you from. Our breeders, however, can come from various locations all around United state.

2. Do you have any customers references?

We have a dedicated page for our customer reviews, with hundreds of references. You can search these by breed or location to find the most relevant for you. Please also visit our Facebook page to see more of our happy customers and their dogs. We also have an exclusive Maltese puppy group on Facebook where our past customers can come together to show off their dogs.

3. Do I have to qualify to be able to purchase one of your puppies?

No, we do not believe we should qualify anybody when buying puppies from us! One of our customers said it right: “They’re great dogs but we don’t need anyone qualifying us as to whether or not we deserve the right to buy one of their puppies.” It is our intention to place our puppies in good homes. However, we certainly reserve the right not to sell if we believe it is in the best interests of the dog.

4. Do you have a contract?

No. But before you purchase your dog you are required to state that you have read our Terms and Conditions, and to sign our Lifetime Health Guarantee.

5. What does it mean if the puppy has a champion sire or dam?

Basically, it means you are getting a top-of-the-line puppy! A champion sire or dam means that one of the parents or both has repeatably won FCI-organized conformation shows and must therefore be of excellent appearance and conformation. Literally, this means, by the rules of the FCI, that the dog has won the necessary number of local or international dog shows to have been able to earn a Champion or International Champion title. For detailed information on the requirements, visit the official FCI website.

6. Do your puppies receive any vaccinations?

All our puppies receive the vaccinations necessary for their age, and any additional vaccinations that are required to meet your countries import regulations.

8. Are your puppies healthy?

The health of our puppies is our top priority, and even more importantly, the whole purpose of the breeders we work with! We only choose puppies from breeders we know to put the welfare and comfort of their puppies first. Once you choose your puppy, all necessary vaccinations are given, and immediately prior to departure your puppy will have a check-up with our veterinarian.

  • The price of the dog, not including shipping, must be paid in full at 12 weeks of age.
  • The total price is due 15 days before the planned date of arrival.

15. How long before I get my puppy?

We ship our puppies at the earliest possible moment, but never before 10 weeks. Each country has its own import regulations, with differing minimum age restrictions. Please look on our delivery page for the import regulations to your destination.

16.How long is the flight? Is my puppy given food and water during the transport? Isn’t it too cold/hot for the puppy?

We only ship our puppies with pet-friendly, major airlines that have many years of experience with shipping animals and have strict safety regulations,  The airplanes have a separate, temperature-controlled room for live animals. This is very safe and most puppies sleep through the flight. In most cases, the puppy stays overnight in one of the airline’s cities in the USA, where he/she is provided with food and water before continuing to the final destination.

17. Will my puppy come with a pedigree?

Yes. Our puppies usually come with a pedigree. On a rare occasion when a puppy does not have a pedigree this will be stated in the puppy’s individual Breeders Notes.

18. What training will the puppy be given and will it require more after it arrives?

We are happy to see that you are thinking about training as it is very important. Puppies are not in general trained before departure, it is up to the breeder what training they choose to give the puppy.

However, if you wish for specific training this can be arranged for an additional fee.

All puppies require proper training from their owner after arrival. If you don’t want to hire a dog trainer, there are several resources that can be found on the internet to help you

19. What is the best diet for my dog?

We recommend at first feeding your puppy the same food that the breeder gave. You can gradually try a different food brand that is available in your location. We always recommend super-premium or holistic (grain-free) dry brands. Good choices are, just to mention a few: Royal Canin, Natures Variety, Taste of the Wild. We recommend feeding your puppy 4 times a day until 3 months of age, then 3 times a day until 6 months. From then on you can feed your puppy twice a day, and depending on your choice feed the dog 1 or 2 times a day from 1 year old.

20. What kind of environment should I create for my puppy?

This depends on several factors such as the dog breed itself, the circumstances where you live. What really is important is to leave space for the dog, let it have his or her own corner where no one should intrude, where HE/SHE can feel safe and by itself. But make sure breakables and any safety hazards such as electric cables are out of reach. Having plenty of dog toys too is a good idea.

21. If I am eligible for another puppy under the guarantee do I have to pay the shipping costs?

Yes, normally you would cover the cost, but we also offer fantastic Shipping Protection on top of our guarantee. If you have purchased this protection and your dog sadly passes away within the guaranteed time, then we would cover 100% of the shipping costs for your new puppy, up to the price of the original shipping.
